What is an online community? 

According to Wikipedia, an online community, also known as an internet community or web community, is a community whose members interact with each other primarily via the Internet. Members of the community usually share common interests. This is also HealthMeans’ definition as well. Our online community is a place for you to interact with new people who you may have never had the chance to meet in person due to distance, and who are interested in the same topics that you are. 

Why is a community important?

Experts agree that being involved in a community of people with shared interests is important for our health and overall well-being. A community provides a safe place to ask questions and share your own experiences with others.

What is the purpose of it?

The HealthMeans Community is a members-only group that exists to help you learn, engage, grow and heal through accessible education, collaborative conversations and expert guidance. We hope this community is an essential part of your journey. So we encourage you to return every day to see what’s happening in the community, share your thoughts, post news ideas and questions, and engage with your fellow members.

Who else is in the community?

Other HealthMeans premium members have access to the community. We’d be delighted to have you join the conversations.

How much does it cost to participate? 

The cost to join the premium membership right now is $7.99/month or $79.99 a year. With all of the new features and member benefits planned in 2023-2024, the price will be increasing in June-July 2023. So join soon!

How do you join?

Sign in to your HealthMeans member account, and if you are not already a premium member, you can upgrade and access the community right away. 

After you’ve signed in, click here to upgrade your membership.

If you don’t have a HealthMeans account, you can sign up for free at https://healthmeans.com/ and then click here to upgrade to a premium membership.

After you’ve upgraded your membership, click the Community link in the left column of your account’s Dashboard.
